Having just completed the Birmingham City Council accredited Flying Start training course we are experienced in delivering participatory art workshops to a wide range of people. ArtsFest will enable us to establish ourselves as a group and will provide the perfect showcase to display our individual and collective talents to a wider audience. We provided a series of workshops where children, young people and their families are invited to help create an interactive garden. The participants can explore a wide range of artforms such as printmaking, origami, calligraphy, collage and craft to make pieces to add to the garden throughout the day. These could be birds, flowers, insects, vegetables, scarecrows, lanterns or bunting and will enable them to try out lots of creative ideas. Each workshop will build on the pieces created in the last so that at the end of the day we will have created a multi-sensory garden space for children to explore and interact with. |
